The Northern Territory Police Force has arrested the fourth outstanding youth following an aggravated burglary at a Katherine business early yesterday morning.
Around 1:40am on 13 August, four youths allegedly entered a motorcycle business on Giles Street and gained access to an unsecured shed.
It is alleged the offenders located two motorcycles and attempted to steal them before abandoning them nearby a short time later and fleeing the area.
Members from Strike Force Cerberus and Strike Force Trident commenced enquiries and identified the four offenders believed to have been involved. Around 10:20am yesterday, three of the youths aged 12, 13 and 17, were arrested.
Following investigations, police identified the fourth outstanding youth as a 13-year-old male.
At 1:30pm, members conducted a traffic apprehension and search of an outbound bus on the Victoria Highway and the 13-year-old was located and arrested.
He has since been charged with aggravated burglary and breaching bail and is due to appear in court today.
