Frightful 80s Drive-in Cinema for those thirsty for night out

Georges River Council

On the eve of Halloween, Georges River Council is bringing back it’s Frightful 80s Drive-in Cinema at Donnelly Park in Connells Point for a spooky night out under the stars.

There’ll be food and dessert trucks as well as a screening of the 80s cult classic vampire film, The Lost Boys.

Mayor of Georges River Council, Kevin Greene welcomed the news of Council’s first in-person event since coming out of lockdown.

“With restrictions easing, it is so great to be able to see events like this again in our community that bring people together,” Mr Greene said.

Council will also be awarding the best Halloween-decorated car with a $500 EFTPOS gift card for ‘Best Dressed Car‘.

Don a spooky outfit, bring some holy water, sink your teeth into some munchies and settle in for a hair-raising night under the stars.
