From fine dining to casual grazing, it’s time to EAT Parramatta

Parramatta’s reputation as Sydney’s hottest food destination is growing and City of Parramatta is inviting you to come and dine with us as part of the EAT Parramatta campaign.

The campaign features a new video series hosted by renowned local DJ, writer and food connoisseur Andrew Levins.

Each video takes foodies on a culinary journey of Parramatta, exploring traditional hearty feasts, sleek hatted restaurants, a booming specialty coffee scene, and an endless buzzing nightlife.

City of Parramatta chief executive officer Gail Connolly PSM said it showcases some of the City’s best kept secrets.

“We’re transforming into a global city with a food scene worthy of international attention,” Ms Connolly said.

“Whether you stroll down Eat Street in the heart of the City or venture to sample the rich Indian spices served up in Harris Park, it’s one of the few places where you can experience a world of flavours.

“There is so much variety that even those in neighbouring countries throughout all parts of Asia should consider jumping on a flight to venture into Parramatta for an experience they won’t forget.

“As our City continues to grow, Council has taken steps to attract and support businesses to thrive in the City’s CBD such as streamlining the development application process so they can stay open later and be part of a 24-hour economy – just think what our City will be like in 2050!”

Parramatta DJ, writer and food connoisseur Andrew Levins said he wants to see more people come and experience the vibrant food and culture.

“I’m passionate about Parramatta and I had a lot of fun making these videos for the EAT Parramatta campaign,” Mr Levins said.

“We are so lucky here to have a whole array of food offerings from across the globe in all corners of our city and I’m always up for spreading the word as loudly as possible.

“Parramatta’s reputation is growing as one of the best places to eat in Greater Sydney, whether you want a relaxed café, fine dining or cultural experience. It feels like there’s a new must-eat place opening every week!”
