Full Circle Therapies Mason’s House dream to become a reality

  • Full Circle Therapies Mason’s House project reaches significant milestone today, with announcement of ACorp Construction as successful building contractor
  • Project to deliver a new paediatric Allied Health facility in Kalgoorlie-Boulder supported by $2.8 million State Government funding

Regional Development Minister Don Punch announced an important milestone for Full Circle Therapies Mason’s House project today in Kalgoorlie, with local construction company ACorp Construction selected as the successful building contractor.

The Minister was joined by Member for Kalgoorlie Ali Kent MLA and Full Circle Therapies chairperson Luke Bowler at a local event, which provided an opportunity for a tour of the existing site and an update on the concept plans for the project.

Full Circle Therapies Inc is a not-for-profit community organisation providing much needed therapy services to Goldfields families for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

The project is an election commitment supported by $2.8 million State Government funding. It will see the construction of a new purpose-built therapy centre called Mason’s House at the existing site, enabling families and children to access specialised therapy in a modern Allied Health facility.

The new facility will incorporate therapy rooms and a specialised sensory room, as well as a multi-use space for sensory gym and group activities.

The existing nature playground will be retained and reconfigured to provide a safe, educational play space for families and children visiting the centre.

As stated by Regional Development Minister Don Punch:

“The Full Circle Therapies project, affectionately called Mason’s House, represents a commitment by the Cook Government to support regional families with much-needed local therapy services.

“The announcement of a local construction company for the project will ensure regional economic benefits flow through to businesses in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, through the supply of goods and employment of local trades.”

As stated by Kalgoorlie MLA Ali Kent:

“This is a great outcome for Full Circle Therapies and the Kalgoorlie community, alleviating the stress and financial burden of families travelling to Perth for treatment.

“The new facility will provide a safe place for families and children to access the therapy and support they need to thrive, and its construction will create jobs and a boost for the local economy.”
