Following today’s easing of the Victorian Government COVID-19 restrictions, we are pleased to announce that further Council services and facilities will become available to more of our residents.

Visitors are asked to continue to follow Victorian Government guidelines including the recommendations regarding mask wearing.

All our facilities and services are operating under strict COVID-safe plans to ensure the health and safety of our community and staff. If you feel at all unwell, please stay home and if you have any coronavirus symptoms, please go and get tested.

We will keep the community updated as we continue the safe reopening of other facilities and services in line with Victorian government directives.

Recreation and leisure facilities

The gym and group fitness classes are back in full operation at the Eltham Leisure Centre and Diamond Creek Community Centre, although group fitness is still capped at 20 people per class.

The Diamond Creek Outdoor Pool, including the toddler pool, is open with no restrictions and no bookings required. The change rooms and showers are open. Swimming lessons will recommence on 25 November.

Bookings are no longer required for the Eltham Leisure Centre pool, and aqua aerobics has also resumed.

Stadium bookings have resumed at the Eltham Leisure Centre, Diamond Creek Community Centre and Community Bank Stadium, subject to density requirements. Limited casual shooting options are also available at the Community Bank Stadium.

A reminder that the Diamond Valley Sports and Fitness Centre remains closed for major redevelopment. Child care is returning to the Eltham Leisure Centre and Diamond Creek Community Centre from 30 November.
