Lithgow Council
At last evening’s Council Meeting, Lithgow City Council considered the performance of Council’s General Manager, Mr Craig Butler. This was prompted by the General Manager’s employment contract being due for renewal in May 2023.
The Council resolved to offer Mr Butler a renewed term contract in accordance with the standard contract of employment for General Managers of NSW Councils.
Mayor Councillor Maree Statham has confirmed however that any offer of a contract renewal will be preceded by a formal performance review involving all Councillors with assistance provided by an independent employment specialist.
