Over the past couple of weeks, we have seen an outpouring of generosity from community members and businesses wanting to thank our volunteers and staff and support their firefighting efforts.
Last week, Mr John Gandel AC wrote to CFA to advise that Gandel Philanthropy and the Gandel family would be making a $100,000 donation to CFA’s volunteer operations as part of a $1 million donation nationally to assist with firefighting efforts and recovery.
In his letter, Mr Gandel wished all our brave firefighters the best of luck in their role in helping to keep the community safe.
