The Travelling Film Festival (TFF) sees an exciting program of films from across the world screened in Darwin, Katherine and Alice Springs, and tickets are on sale now.

The country’s longest-running travelling film festival brings screenings to regional and rural towns across Australia and will stop off in the Northern Territory in February 2024. Screenings will take place at Katherine Cinema 3 from 9 to 11 February, BCC Casuarina Cinema Darwin from 22 to 25 February and Alice Springs Cinema from 23 to 26 February.

TFF creates unique programs for each location, to showcase a selection of the world’s best award-winning films fresh from the Sydney Film Festival and other major international film festivals.

Feature films on the program include the Venice Golden Lion winner Poor Things from director Yorgos Lanthimos, and Cannes Palme d’Or winner Anatomy of a Fall from French director Justine Triet. New locally made documentary Isla’s Way from Australian director Marion Pilowsky is on the list, as is the 1973 short Caravan from legendary Australian director Phillip Noyce (Rabbit Proof Fence). Caravan screened at the first TFF, and is on the list this year to help celebrate 50 years of the festival.
