Got an idea that could benefit your community? Apply for a grant today

Kempsey Shire Council

Whether you’re looking to improve local sporting opportunities, deliver a community program, celebrate culture, enhance the environment or support local wellbeing, Council’s Community Grants Program may be able to help.

Over the years, Community Grants have supported a wide variety of local projects across the Macleay Valley, demonstrating the many ways community groups can make a positive impact.

From restoring wildlife corridors and rehabilitating natural environments to supporting sporting clubs with new equipment and creating opportunities for young people to connect through arts, culture and recreation, grant-funded projects have helped strengthen communities across the shire.

Community Grants have also supported programs that bring generations together, celebrate Aboriginal culture and history, improve accessibility and encourage learning and community participation.

There is no single ‘right’ idea needed to apply for a grant. If your project will deliver benefits for the community, contribute to local wellbeing or help build stronger connections across the Macleay Valley, we would love to hear from you.
