As part of the North East Community Fund, grants of up to $5,000 are now available to local landcare, environment and community groups.
The Greener North East grants will support tree planting and other environmental and sustainability initiatives across the north east suburbs.
Landcare, environment and community groups can apply for:
- Greener North East planting and environment grants of up to $5,000 for projects that bring the community together to plant trees and shrubs or support local biodiversity and habitat.
- Greener North East equipment grants of up to $5,000 for equipment, training, or education activities that build capacity or support the ongoing work of local landcare and environment groups.
To be eligible for consideration, your project or initiative must benefit suburbs affected by construction of North East Link, such as Bulleen, Doncaster and Templestowe Lower.
