Grievous bodily harm, Nerang 13 November

Police are appealing for public assistance following a grievous bodily harm incident that occurred in Nerang last week.

At approximately 2pm on Thursday November 9, police responded to a location along Mylor Street near Bushmead Street where four adults had become involved in an altercation.

Upon arrival, a 49-year-old Nerang man had received a significant head injury and was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

A 51-year-old Nerang man was transported to hospital for treatment to minor injuries and has since been released.

Two other men were spoken to at the scene and are assisting police with inquiries.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam or CCTV from the local area around the time of the incident to come forward.

Investigations are continuing.
