The Esplanade Dining Precinct, from Shields St to Florance St, will be closed to all traffic from 8pm to 10.30pm on Saturday 26 July for La Festa, part of the Cairns Italian Festival.
The closure is required for public safety.
Council staff will be on site to assist with emergency access if required.
