Hastings’ brand-new fish cleaning facility is now open for the public to use. Fishing enthusiasts can work in a sheltered 24-hour accessible facility with sensor lights and four full size cleaning stations, conveniently located near the boat ramp.
This project was delivered as an action from the Hastings South Coastal Management Plan (2015) and Hastings Foreshore Precinct Plan (2018).
The new facility has been designed in consultation with the Westernport Angling Club and the Victorian Fisheries Authority.
The Victorian Fisheries Authority funded the project through the ‘Go Fishing Victoria’ plan.
