Help sought after man hit by truck in South Granville

Police are appealing for public assistance following reports that a man had been hit by a truck in South Granville.

About 9.10am today (Wednesday 15 December 2021), emergency services were called to Clyde Street, South Granville, following reports a man had been hit by a truck.

Officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

A 89-year-old man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Westmead Hospital in a serious condition.

The Crash Investigation Unit (CIU) is investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Police would like to speak to the man shown in the photo and anyone who may have information about the driver or owner of the truck.
