Help sought after woman indecently assaulted at Nowra, NSW

Police are appealing for public assistance following an indecent assault in Nowra overnight.

About 6.20pm (Thursday 30 July 2020), a 26-year-old woman was walking along Albatross Road, Nowra Hill, when she was approached by an unknown man.

The man grabbed the woman around the waist and sexually touched her, before she managed to free herself.

The man fled on foot and the woman ran home before calling police.

Officers from South Coast Police District attended and conducted extensive patrols of the area; however, they were unable to locate the man.

As inquiries continue, police are appealing for public assistance to speak with a man who may be to assist with the investigation.

He’s described as being approximately 180cm tall, with an athletic build and broad shoulders.

He was last seen wearing a black cap, black t-shirt, grey shorts and sneakers.

Police are appealing for anyone with dashcam footage, or who may have been in the area around the time of the incident, to come forward.
