From City of Ballarat Acting Director Development and Planning James Guy:
This stage of works at Her Majesty’s Ballarat is almost complete. We will soon begin the major task of cleaning the theatre and re-establishing the technical and operational equipment, including reinstating all of the stage equipment. This work will take more than a month to complete.
We are working very closely with the Royal South Street Society in order to produce the best outcome for this much-loved competition.
Her Majesty’s Ballarat is heavily booked until December, which includes the Royal South Street Society Eisteddfod and dance school events, while two additional shows will round out the calendar year.
We look forward to having the doors of Her Majesty’s Ballarat once again open to performers and patrons.
