A Hervey Bay dad is ready to switch seasons and finally tick Tasmania off his travel wish-list after discovering he’d won $100,000 in today’s Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
The Queenslander held the 1st Prize winning entry in today’s Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 11083, drawn Thursday 2 July 2026.
So far in 2026, there have been six major lottery wins in the Wide Bay-Burnett region that have collectively taken home more than $5.6 million in prize money.
“That’s fabulous. I feel good! Thank you very much,” he laughed when we confirmed his prize straight after the draw.
“It’s been a long, long time coming!
“My wife is next to me and she can’t stop smiling!”
When asked how he might enjoy his $100,000 windfall, the happy retiree said his first thought was a getaway with his wife.
“We could go on a holiday,” he shared.
“I’ve always wanted to go to Tassie!”
While a cool Tasmanian escape was at the top of the list, the Hervey Bay dad said he and his wife would take their time deciding what else to do with the prize.
“Maybe another car. Maybe help the kids. We’ll think about it!” he said.
His winning entry of one random number was purchased on The Lott website – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
