Emergency services remain on scene as firefighters are continuing efforts to extinguish a house fire in The Hills District this morning.
Police and Fire and Rescue NSW responded following reports of a home well-alight on Fingal Avenue, Glenhaven, about 4am (Sunday 25 August 2019).
While firefighters were able to control the blaze, it is continuing to smoulder; the home has been destroyed.
No one was home at the time of the fire and no injuries have been reported.
Officers from The Hills Police Area Command are conducting inquiries at the scene but are not expecting to gain access to the immediate area and establish a crime scene until later today.
