Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in Carlton early hours this morning.
Officers were called to an apartment building on Drummond Street after reports of a man injured about 11.45pm.
A 42-year-old Carlton man was located with life-threatening injuries.
The man was transported to hospital, where he later died.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined and a
crime scene has been established.
