Police have launched a homicide investigation following the death of a man in Hope Island today, March 11.
At approximately 2.20pm, emergency services were called to a shopping centre carpark along Santa Barbara Road following reports a man had been seriously assaulted.
Upon arrival, a man was located with life-threatening injuries.
Emergency services attempted to revive the man; however, he was declared deceased at the scene a short time later.
A crime scene has been declared and investigations are continuing.
