Homicide Squad Detectives charged a 35-year-old man with Attempted Unlawful Killing after an incident at a home in Beeliar on Sunday afternoon, 19 January 2020.
Around 4.15pm, police were called to a home in Britannia Avenue where they located a 65-year-old man with critical injuries and the 35-year-old man with serious injuries. They are father and son.
Both men were conveyed to Fiona Stanley Hospital.
The 35-year-old man is due to appear in court via a bedside hearing tomorrow, 22 January 2020.
