Homicide Squad detectives are investigating after the death of a woman in Abbotsford on Wednesday night.
Emergency services were called to Stafford Street to reports a woman had been seriously injured about 11.10pm.
A 41-year-old Abbotsford woman died at the scene.
A teenage boy who had also been at the residence was not physically injured.
Police have been told another two males fled the scene in a vehicle before emergency services arrived.
All parties involved are believed to be known to each other.
Investigations into the incident remain ongoing and no arrests have been made at this time.
