Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in Numurkah last night.
Police have been told the man went to investigate a noise outside his property in Prentice Lane before a suspected gunshot was heard about 8.50pm.
The man was found injured and he sadly died at the scene.
A crime scene has been set up while detectives work to establish the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
