Detectives from Auburn Police Area Command are appealing for public assistance as investigations continue into a historical kidnapping / sexual assault.
About 7:30pm on Monday 28 September 1981, a 14-year-old boy was walking along Park Road, Auburn, near the intersection of Vaughn Street, when he was forced into a car by a man, driven away from the area and sexually assaulted.
The vehicle, described as a white Chrysler Valiant, was being driven by a second male.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the matter and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
