Images of robbery suspect released

Police investigating an aggravated robbery at a West Lakes service station on Wednesday have released images of the suspect.

Just after 2.20am, Wednesday 13 May, a man entered a service station on the corner of Frederick Road and West Lakes Boulevard where he threatened staff and demanded cash from the till.

He stole cash and was last seen walking west on West Lakes Boulevard.

Thankfully no one was physically injured during the incident.

The man is described as about 190cm tall, aged in his late 20’s with a tanned complexion and slim build.

He was wearing a black beanie pulled down low with a grey scarf covering his neck and face, along with a black jumper and long pants. He was also carrying a small black leather bag worn across his body.

Western District CIB are investigating the incident and have released images of the suspect in a bid to identify him.
