South Australia Police are pleased to confirm the officer injured in the incident at Elizabeth East on Wednesday has now been discharged from hospital.
Jessie is recovering well and will continue to receive our full support during her recovery.
We thank all the medical staff from SA Ambulance and the Royal Adelaide Hospital involved in Jessie’s care and acknowledge the many messages of support received from her policing colleagues and the community.
Jessie will not be making any comment about the incident while she focuses on her recovery. Jessie and her family are requesting privacy at this time and Police ask that this request be respected.
