Investigation ongoing after seizure of drugs and shoes

Investigators from Fawkner Divisional Response Unit are hoping to identify a man as part of an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking in the Broadmeadows area.

Last month, investigators executed a warrant at an address on Belar Court, Meadow Heights where a man was arrested and drugs including methylamphetamine, cocaine; weapons, watches, and 40 pairs of shoes were seized.

As part of their ongoing investigation, police are still seeking to identify another man who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

CCTV images of the man have been released in the hope he can be identified.

It is believed the man attended the Broadmeadows Railway Station about 6pm on 2 April.

The 29-year-old Meadow Heights man, arrested when the warrant was executed, was charged with trafficking a commercial quantity of methylamphetamine, possess firearm, possess ecstasy and possessing items believed to be proceeds of crime.
