Investigators work to identify pair after Melbourne aggravated burglary

Melbourne Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for help to identify a man and woman following an aggravated burglary in Melbourne on 7 March.

It is alleged that a female stole a key and swipe card from the mailbox in a residential apartment building on Rose Lane at 5am on 6 March.

The same female returned the following day at 12.00pm with a male and using the swipe access and key, entered an apartment and stole a hand bag.

The victim, who was home at the time, did not see the offenders.

The female is perceived as Caucasian in appearance, medium build, blond hair with an undercut and has tattoos on her chest and back.

The man is perceived as of Asian appearance with short black hair.

Police have released images of a man and woman who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
