Isaac Regional Council yesterday accepted the resignation of CEO Jeff Stewart-Harris.

Mr Stewart-Harris PSM joined Isaac Regional Council in February 2017 as Senior Advisor later taking on the role of Director of Planning, Environment and Community Services prior to his appointment as CEO in April 2021.

Isaac Regional Council Mayor Anne Baker said the Council was appreciative of the dedication Mr Stewart-Harris has shown to the Isaac region.

“After 6 years of service to our community, Jeff has decided to pursue new opportunities in his professional career,” Mayor Baker said.

“His tireless efforts have greatly contributed to the progress and development of the Isaac region. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for his dedication to our organisation.

“As a passionate advocate for our community Jeff has contributed to the region’s story and we wish him the very best in his future endeavours.

“While we move forward with recruitment of a new CEO, Council has appointed Director of Corporate Governance and Finance Services, Darren Fettell as Acting CEO.

“Darren brings extensive experience and knowledge of our organisation, and we have every confidence in his ability to lead us during this transitional period.”
