Police are appealing for public assistance to locate Jayant.
The 23-year-old is wanted on warrant in relation to assault related offences.
Jayant is described as 170cm tall with a thin build and black hair.
Investigators have released an image of Jayant in the hope someone may be able to provide information on his current whereabouts.
He is known to frequent the Craigieburn and Mount Waverley areas.
