Kewdale fatal crash

Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Unit are seeking information regarding a fatal traffic incident that occurred in Kewdale last night, Sunday 14 May 2023.

About 7.25pm, a silver Ssangyong Kyron station-wagon was travelling on Kewdale Road when the vehicle struck a barrier on Kewdale Road just near the Tonkin Highway off-ramp. The driver, a 30-year-old man got out of the vehicle and as he was walking down the exit ramp to Tonkin Highway he was struck by a white Toyota Camry sedan. He sustained critical injuries and was conveyed by ambulance to hospital where he later died.

The driver of the Toyota Camry sedan, a man in his 20s, was not injured.
