We have recently installed a dedicated wildlife landing to support local wildlife as part of the Koolamara Waters bridge upgrade.
The converted telegraph pole will support native wildlife – such as sugar gliders – to access the diverse bushland and wetlands of Koolamara Waters, Blackwood Park Road, Ferntree Gully.
To help bring the wildlife landing to life, Wurundjeri and Yorta-Yorta artist Simone Thomson has painted the pole with native animals and plants that will connect this installation to Country.
