Lake Argyle fatal crash

Major Crash Investigation Section officers continue to investigate a fatal crash that occurred in Lake Argyle during the early hours of Thursday, 1 August 2019.

Between 12.45am and 3.30am, a white Mitsubishi Triton utility was travelling south along Great Northern Highway when between Lissadell Road and Bow River, the vehicle left the road onto the gravel verge, skidded and rolled over several times before coming to a stop.

The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 34-year-old woman, received critical injuries as a result of the crash and died at the scene.

Major Crash investigators would like to speak to anyone who saw the crash, or the Mitsubishi Triton utility prior to the crash, and ask anyone who was driving in the area around the time of the crash who has dashcam vision, to come forward.
