Major Crash investigators are investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred on Tuesday 18 August 2020 at the intersection of Hare Street and Goldfields Highway, Lamington.
The crash occurred at about 4:55pm when a blue Kia Rio turned onto Goldfields Highway from Hare Street and collided with a maroon Holden Colorado. The Holden Colorado rolled as a result of the impact.
The 30-year-old female driver from the Kia Rio received no injuries.
There were five occupants in the Holden Colorado, four adults and one baby. Three of the adults, including the driver received serious injuries and were conveyed to Kalgoorlie Hospital. The fourth adult, a 58-year-old female from Menzies received critical injuries and died soon after in Kalgoorlie Hospital.
Investigators would like to speak with anyone who saw the crash, may have seen the Kia or the Holden driving in the vicinity of the crash, or have dash camera footage in the area.
