Land search underway for missing teenager at Tuncurry

Police are currently undertaking a land search for a teenager missing on the states mid north coast.

Juztun Ward, aged 13, was last seen about 6pm today (Thursday 18 May 2023) walking into bush land near a golf course along The Lakes Way, Tuncurry.

Officers from Manning Great Lakes Police District were notified and immediately co-ordinated a search to locate him.

Serious concerns are held for Juztun due to his age and a number of medical conditions he has.

Juztun is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 150cm tall, thin build, fair complexion and short brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a dark blue hooded jumper, black track pants, black shoes with white stripes.

Supporting local police in the search is the NSW Police Dog Squad and State Emergency Service (SES).
