Large cannabis crop found at Parafield Gardens, South Australia

Police have seized a large number of cannabis plants after a search at Parafield Gardens.

Just after 9am on Monday, 12 November officers from Northern District Police searched the Macartney Road property and uncovered a hydroponic setup being used to grow 143 cannabis plants of various sizes.

The electricity to the property had been illegally tampered with, and there was no one present at the house.

The plants and hydroponic equipment were seized, and investigations continue regarding who is responsible for the setup.
