Library partners with Aussie-Driver.com

Swan Hill Regional Library has partnered with Aussie-Driver.com to provide free online access to practice driving tests for people looking to get their learner’s permit or probationary licence.

Swan Hill Rural City Council TAC L2P Program Officer Ross Palmer said the website was specifically designed for each state, and included relevant road rules and legislation.

“You can jump on and do practice tests, there’s an exam simulator and online driver handbooks,” he said.

“The website gives hints and explanations to help with questions about road safety, traffic regulations, signage, road rules, speed restrictions and fines.

“There is even a personal challenge bank to prompt users to work on questions they need to study up on a little bit more.”

Swan Hill Rural City Council Libraries Manager Camille Cullinan encouraged people currently studying or looking to prepare for their learners test to pop into the Library and take advantage of these resources.

Ms Cullinan said the Library was aiming to make it easier for people without internet or computer access.

“We have a lot of great resources available at the library – we are delighted to be making this tool available to the community,” she said.
