Liquor store left high and dry in Point Cook

Werribee police are hoping to identify two men after bottles of alcohol worth more than $900 were stolen from a Point Cook liquor store earlier this month.

Police have been told two men attended the store on Murnong Street about 8.30pm on Monday 8 June.

Both men each filled up shopping baskets with bottles of alcohol, including 15 bottles of scotch whisky and three bottles of Tennessee whiskey.

The pair left store without making any attempt to pay.

Police have released images of two men who they believe can assist with their investigation.

He was wearing a white and grey overcoat with a green t-shirt and jeans.

The second man is described as having an olive complexion, aged 40 to 50-year-old with a shaved head.

He was wearing a surgical mask, blue hooded jumper, black jeans and white runners.
