Listening to community and delivering upgrades for Parkdale Primary

Liberal Party Victoria

A Matt Guy Liberals and Nationals Government will provide $3.6 million to upgrade facilities at Parkdale Primary School.

Parkdale Primary School is home to 650 students and is an integral pillar of the local community, yet is in desperate need of attention.

The school’s Grade 2 building was built in the 70s and is now at the end of its serviceable life.

The commitment will see the building replaced, along with the integration of six new, modern and fit-for-purpose classrooms.

Shadow Minister for Education, David Hodgett, said Parkdale Primary School is long overdue for an upgrade.

“Our Candidate for Mordialloc, Phillip Pease has been a passionate advocate for Parkdale Primary School, asking how we can best support them after years of uncertainty.”

“After two years of home learning, it’s as important as ever to invest in our schools and deliver quality facilities for all students and the Liberals and Nationals will do just that.”

Liberal Candidate for Mordialloc, Phillip Pease, said Parkdale Primary students and teachers deserve access to the very best facilities and learning spaces available.

“Only a Liberals and Nationals Government will listen to the community, back our students and deliver this important upgrade for Parkdale Primary School.”
