Campaspe Shire Council is proud to support Rushworth’s FReeZA committee in hosting a Magical Movie Trivia Night at Rushworth Shire Hall on Friday, 28 July.
Magical Movie Trivia Night features movie trivia questions from a number of popular movies such as Harry Potter, Marvel, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and Disney. The event is open to young people aged 12 – 25 from across the shire, inviting people to attend in cosplay themed costumes to earn additional points for their team.
Campaspe Shire Mayor, Cr Rob Amos says it’ll be a great night out for youth in Rushworth and surrounding areas.
“There’s not enough youth focused events happening in the region and the FReeZA program aims to look at ways Campaspe Shire can change that and engage our youth. It’s fantastic to see a fun event for 12 to 25 year olds taking place in Rushworth.
“This is the second FReeZA event for the year, and we’re hoping to offer something different this time around. For two years, FReeZA have been expanding their events across the shire and into our smaller towns.
“The FReeZA committee recognise that there aren’t enough youth dedicated events in the region and is actively working to create change and bring creative new events to the shire,” Mr Amos added.
Campaspe’s FReeZA committee has also hosted other well-known events in the region, including Dive-In Movie, Echuca Moama Youth Expo and Cosplaza.
The evening is limited to 15 tables of six, with groups being encouraged to express their interest early. The event begins at 7pm and is expected to finish at 10pm.
Tickets can be booked online here. Tickets are $5 each, with a maximum of six people per table. The event is family friendly and can include family teams.
Campaspe FReeZA events are aimed at 12-25 years and are drug, smoke, vape and alcohol free events.
