Man charged after aggravated break and enter on Central Coast – Raptor North

A man will face court today charged after an investigation into an aggravated break and enter on the Central Coast.

About 12.40pm on Monday 11 September 2023, officers attached to Brisbane Water Police District responded to reports of an aggravated break and enter on the Central Coast Highway at Kariong.

On arrival, police were told two males were seen entering a home, before allegedly intimidating neighbours. Further inquiries suggest the home had also been targeted in the days prior.

A crime scene was established, and inquiries commenced before the matter was taken carriage of by Raptor Squad North.

Following inquiries, about 11.15am yesterday (Thursday 14 September 2023), Raptor Squad operatives executed a search warrant on Playford Road in Killarney Vale, where they arrested a 34-year-old man.

During a search of the property, police located an imitation glock pistol, imitation assault rifle and an imitation shotgun.

All items were seized to undergo further forensic examination.

The man was taken to Wyong Police Station, where he was charged with aggravated break and enter with intent-in company-not steal etc, attempt stalk/intimidate intend fear of harm, two counts of possess unauthorised prohibited firearm, possess unregistered firearm-pistol, and possess prohibited drug.

He was refused bail to appear in Wyong Local Court today (Friday 15 September 2023).
