A man has been charged with weapon offences in the state’s south.
About 10am on Saturday 15 February 2025, police attended a home on Ziegler Avenue Kooringal.
Police searched the home and seized a live military grade smoke grenade.
Officers also seized ammunition and red and blue emergency lights from the vehicle parked in the driveway.
A 33-year-old man was arrested and taken to Wagga Wagga Police Station.
He was charged with possess or use a prohibited weapon without permit and possess ammunition without holding licence/permit/authority.
He was refused bail to reappear in Wagga Wagga Local Court on Monday 24 February 2025.
