A man has been charged following an investigation into multiple alleged sexual acts in Sydney’s west over the last month.
In August 2026, officers attached to Parramatta Police Area Command commenced an investigation following reports of a man performing sexual acts in the Parramatta area.
Police were told the alleged acts occurred in front of multiple women at a shopping centre on Church Street, Parramatta, between Sunday 23 August 2026 and Saturday 12 September 2026.
Police will allege the man also performed a sexual act in Haymarket on Monday 7 September 2026.
Following extensive inquiries, about 11.30am yesterday (Thursday 17 September 2026), police executed a search warrant at a property on Lyton Street, Blacktown.
During a search of the premises, small amounts of ketamine and cannabis, as well as items relevant to the investigation – including clothing – were allegedly located and seized.
A short time later, a 20-year-old man attended Parramatta Police Station where he was arrested and charged with 26 offences,
- Carry out sexual act with another without consent (12 counts)
- Stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (personal) (five counts)
- Behave in offensive manner in/near public place/school (three counts)
- Harass retail worker but no actual bodily harm caused (two counts)
- Intimidate retail worker but no actual bodily harm caused
- Assault police officer in execution of duty without actual bodily harm, and
- Possess prohibited drug (two counts).
He was refused bail to appear before Parramatta Local Court today (Friday 18 September 2026).
