Missing Persons Squad detectives have charged a man with murder following an investigation into the suspicious disappearance of Sunbury man Joshua Bishop.
Human remains were discovered following the execution of a warrant at a home in Erinbank Crescent in Westmeadows yesterday afternoon.
Detectives arrested a 27-year-old Westmeadows man, who was charged with one count of murder this evening.
He will appear before Melbourne Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
