Police are investigating a fatal collision involving an electric scooter and a vehicle in Narre Warren this afternoon.
Investigators have been told a white Volkswagen station wagon was travelling outbound on Princes Highway when it collided with an electric scooter at the intersection of Raven Crescent about 5.15pm.
The rider, who has yet to be formally identified, sadly died at the scene.
The driver of the Volkswagen was not injured and stopped to assist.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are attending the scene to assist in determining the specific circumstances of the collision
