A man has died after a crash at Valley View on November 6.
About 4.10pm on Wednesday 6 November, police and emergency services were called to the intersection of Nelson and Grand Junction Roads, after reports that a Ford sedan had left the road and collided with a stobie pole.
The driver, a 97-year-old man and a passenger, a 90-year-old woman both from Enfield were taken to hospital. The woman was treated for minor injuries.
The man passed away in hospital today (Monday 18 November).
Police are investigating if the driver suffered a medical episode prior to the crash.
The man’s death takes the State’s interim road toll to 98, compared to 65 at this time last year.
