Major Crash continue to investigate a fatal crash near Kimba last month.
Just before 3am on Tuesday 25 February, police were called to the Eyre Highway at Panitya about 25km west of Kimba after reports that a 4WD towing a trailer had left the road and rolled into scrub.
The driver and sole occupant, a 79-year-old man from the State’s west coast, was taken to Kimba Hospital before being transferred to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where he sadly died yesterday.
His death is the nineteenth life lost on our roads as compared to 22 for the same time last year.
