Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal house fire in Maidstone this morning.
Emergency Services were called to the Baird Street home following reports flames were coming from the residence about 3.15am.
Sadly a man who was pulled unresponsive from the property died at the scene.
A crime scene has been established and detectives from Wyndham Crime Investigation Unit are attending the scene.
It is expected an arson chemist and fire investigators will attend the property this morning.
