Warrnambool Highway Patrol officers are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash in Orford this morning.
Investigators believe a utility was travelling north along Port Fairy-Hamilton Road when it crashed into a tree about 8.10am.
The male sole occupant, who is yet to be formally identified, sadly died at the scene.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and ask anyone who witnessed it or with dashcam footage to come forward.
