Man dies in single-vehicle crash, NSW

A man has died following a single-vehicle crash on the state’s Mid North Coast at the weekend.

Emergency services were called to South Arm Road, South Arm, west of Nambucca Heads, just before 10am on Saturday (9 November 2019), after a Hyundai Tuscan was found after rolling down an embankment.

Officers from Mid North Coast Police District Command attended, along with NSW Ambulance, paramedics, and the driver, a 63-year-old man, was declared deceased.

A crime scene was established as officers investigated the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Initial inquiries suggest, the crash occurred sometime after 2pm on Friday (8 November 2019) after the bushfire had burnt through the surrounding area.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
